Nearly 2 weeks of sick bug in the house has taken it's toll - and no knitting or crafting going on! Did manage to a) put the tree up and b) watch the finale of Heroes (and try not to drool too much over perfect Peter!)

DD went to her first very big firework display this evening - I spent most of the time watching her as she was so into it! Even getting her out the car when we got hme she was pointing at the sky and saying ' woooooo, a-bang. a-bang!'

I jumped at the chance of joining in a craftster swap based on LIfe on Mars (being a 1970s fan and all that) so I made this little doll based on the Knitted Babes designs by Claire Garland..she is as accurate as I could make it after studying photos of the real test card girl (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Test_Card_F&redirect=no).

Argh! old men drivers

Is there a new driving code for the town I live in that I have appeared to have missed? The one that says 'No longer give way to the right at roundabouts'??? I had 3 near misses yesterday - and ALL of them old men!
OK rant over ;)

I chugged away at the worlds most boring piece of knitting last night - miles of 2x2 rib. It did mean I could watch telly at the same time though without losing my place!
I am stash busting - my stash pile of yarn and fabric is shameful..will take a pic sometime!

Well I'll try and be a good girl and actually blog on here from now on - toyed with another site but as all the knitters and crafters are on blogger I feel more at home here!
